| A bit messy, but it's been a while since I've done anything with colored pencils. It also turned out flat. I think an actual background might have helped, but I'm pitiful at backgrounds and was worried that it might make the whole thing too busy. Excuses, I know. :) Anyway. Glad I finished it! | |

| My DK, Corderosa, looking way too colorful and alive for a dead chick. (Yeah...I went with nelf because I needed the pink hair. Haha.) | |

| Inspired by brain med withdrawl and the thought that it was what I imagined being mana drained would feel like. Obviously less structured than what I usually go for but I had fun with it. | |

| Fairly quick drawing inspired by a song. Even though the song is from 2000...I still enjoy it. It was a good song then, it's still a good song. I've been meaning to do some song-inspired pieces recently, so expect more of this kind of thing. :) ( Cut for size; totally worksafe )- Tags:digital, music

| Just a quickie of what my -ideal- haircut would be for Saelune. Please, Blizzard devs? Please? | |

| my heart is swollen, hot to the touch prickling skin, burning and flushed swollen, it stretches, a heated skin drum i ache and i dance to its feverish strum
melodic turns, harmonies frail, i burn to the drum, my face growing pale it twists me and spins me; a ludicrous dance! this strained choreography's all up to chance
a two-step malaise - how can I see the cure or the cause for this heart malady? i dance at the whim of the tautly-tuned drone that exudes from this damned flesh metronome
the swelling, the fever - is there a pill that will cull the mad drumbeat, destroyer of will? some doctor, white-coated, with bright Ph.D to shine on my heart and allow me to see?
i sense there's no answer, no easy solution no swift and medicinal health resolution but as i give in, i realize with a jerk
that clearly there are other forces at work

| Another nude. I've decided to make this into a series, so I apologize if anyone watching my art journal is offended/dislikes the subject. The idea is to draw several of my characters nude in similar settings and try to get their personality to shine through in each picture. First was Tantra; Glossy's turn this time! ( Once again, NSFW due to nudity. ) | |
|
| OK, so...I was originally going for more of a pin-up type nude, but despite my good intentions this ended up looking a little more like softcore porn, rofl :X So needless to say, NSFW due to naked draenei. ( Oh yeah, did I say NSFW? )- Tags:nude, warcraft

| Another one for the WoW Art Exchange community. Nearly blistered my fingers on this one, but I really love how it turned out. I took some risks on the "effects"...mainly the fog I wanted to illustrate the levitation, and the holy magic. I think it turned out nicely, and I was THRILLED to draw a character in Avatar, since it's my favorite set ever. :D I hope starmatter likes this, as it's of her character, Ahdri. ( Here be a holy priestess. ) | |

| Little lines little bright lines we can't see arching up and down and up again to shrink these oceans -
It's just the speed of stars and with a simple turn of phrase my throat swells, melancholic.
Childhood promised fairy tales and stories, clearcut connectivity; I weave illusions for myself. Disillusion me.
A step forward, a step back. Crimson bright-burning electric thought fades to embers.
Little lines little crimson lines we can't see arching in between and up and down and I fool myself again and again -
The sound of oceans, then silence.

| Madeletre & Glosoli as a couple. Do note: they are not a couple in-character/in-game/obviously not out of character, but I do think they'd look awfully cute together. But...Glosoli the character insists on liking men. Oh well. 8D I drew it anyway. This didn't turn out quite as awesome as I had hoped/pictured, but it might've helped to actually...paint in a background...and gone back to fix Mad's pigtails. Which look flat. D: Also, I think I may have ruined the about-to-kiss look by adding in the shadow heart. But...it's done, I don't feel like going back to mess with it at this point. ( Worksafe. Unless work doesn't like lesbians. ) | |

| Finished the Tantra pic I posted a while back. :D I'm very happy with how it turned out, for the most part. The background was an afterthought, though - I originally drew this with no background in mind, but I had a rock to prop Tantra's foot up, and didn't want to make this Tantra + a rock + plain background. Um. Work safe, unless you work somewhere prudish I suppose. ( Tantra pin-up. ) | |

| Doodles of our D&D group from last week. :) Raggles the rogue, Lira the bard, Amara the rogue, Cora the tiny barbarian, Addison the wizard, and Reywinn the cleric yaay! Not a finished piece or anything, but I liked it fairly well. ( Works in progress ) | |

| Finished the profile of Glossy while doing some last-minute AVs tonight...on Glosoli, haha. I kinda managed to salvage the hair. I'm still not 100% happy with it, but it's better than what I started out with for sure. I fudged a little and used the dodge/burn tool. I know, I really shouldn't, but the HAIR was being such a pain and...um. Well, it's a habit I need to break, haha. I'm not sure how well I like the shadow-breath I added. I just felt the picture was a little bland/monochromatic when I finished, and I'd originally played around with the idea of trying to color her as shadowform initially, so...I ended up with that. I'm a little bit tempted to go back to the PSD and do a shadowform version but at the moment I'm tired of this piece and want to start on something new. So...maybe later. :P | |

| So naturally it's been a while since I've worked with my tablet/worked in Photoshop. I picked what I thought would be the easiest of my sketches to get me back into computer coloring, and man...considering this probably ~is~ the simplest thing I could choose, I'm not looking forward to doing some of my more complicated drawings! Hahaha. I'm...really out of practice, and made the mistake of trying a new technique with the hair. It's not turning out particularly well so far. ;P Not only is the hair bothering me, but I ended up doing a lot of the hair on the wrong layer, so I had to discard all of that work and revert to a previous save...frustrating. Blargh. Accidentally doing stuff on the wrong layer is a bad habit of mine and it can REALLY mess things up sometimes. I need to figure out a better way of noticing if I'm on the wrong layer or not. D: Anyway, ( Original sketch and the work in progress. ) | |

| Sketched during Magtheridon explanations with my old guild, Tree. Magtheridon requires coordination and timing involving the clicking of cubes - and, in the game, clicking the cube makes your character take a large amount of damage. This sketch was me dramatizing the whole ouch-the-cube-hurts! thing. ;) It was originally going to be bloody and far more intricate, but I burned out on the details and never really finished the sketch. I still like it, though, so I thought it deserved some photoshop touches. Currently working on a fairly simple profile of Glosoli. The basic lineart is more or less finished, but I have a lot of coloring to do. | |
